We are beyond excited to welcome interdisciplinary field geologist John He (pictured) to the EPSS team! Joining us in July 2024, Dr. He brings with him field and modeling experience and groundbreaking research.

Dr.  He's work bridges structural geology, sedimentology, geodynamic modeling, and thermo/petrochronology. From glacial erosion in Antarctica to the formation of enigmatic high-elevation basins on orogenic plateaus, his research explores processes that transform the planet's surface and crust over geologic time, and their potential linkages to deep-seated mantle dynamics.
